24 Hours In Dallas:

Monday 10th July 2023:

I started my first full day in Dallas by catching an uber from my hotel accomodation and made my way into downtown Dallas to spend the day exploring the city.

My first experience in Dallas was a visit to the Perot Museum of Nature and History.

This was an attraction I had researched before coming to Dallas which looked really interesting.

I booked a general admisson ticket on the website which was super easy to navigate.

I lined up at the reception desk before showing my admisson ticket and made my way inside.

As you make your way inside there is an amazing surprise a full T-Rex Skeleton hanging above the escaltors.

I spent about 2 hours exploring the many exhibits at the Perot Museum of Nature and History, there are so many amazing exhibits located here including dinosaurs, evolution and much more!

I would definitely recommend visiting while in Dallas!

After exploring the Perot Museum I caught an uber to a neighbourhood in Dallas called Deep Ellum.

Deep Ellum is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and cocktail bars.

I found a great cocktail bar called Ebb and Flow which had a great vibe I ordered some chips and an amazing cocktail called Endless Summer.

The Endless Summer cocktail was made with Gin,Chartruse, passionfruit and lemon which was perfect for a hot summer day in Dallas!

My next attraction I wanted to visit in Dallas was Pioneer Plaza.

Pioneer Plaza is a large public park located in the Convention Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas. It contains large cattle drive sculptures and cowboys.

I ordered an uber from Ebb and Flow and made my towards Pioneer Plaza.

These cattle sculptures were amazing and a great attraction to visit while in Dallas.

Once I had finished taking photos of the amazing sculptures at Pioneer Park it was getting super hot in the afternoon sun,

I ordered an uber and headed back home to my accomodation for the night after a great day of exploring Dallas.

Dallas is a wonderful city I cant wait to return in the future!

Safe Travels

Deep Ellum and that Endless Summer cocktail at Ebb and Flow sound like the perfect way to cool down in the Texas heat. Pioneer Plaza is now on my must-see list too—those cattle sculptures look so iconic. Thanks for sharing such a fun and informative day—it’s inspired me to plan my own Dallas adventure!
