At the beginning of January 2017, I came to the decision that I wanted to explore somewhere new in Australia and experience something new out of my comfort zone!

To start planning where I would be interested in experiencing I visited my local travel agent and had a discussion on some new destinations I might be interested in seeing. My travel agent provided me with some travel brochures from companies that specialize in group travel in Australia including: Topdeck,Contiki and Intrepid to look through and help decide where I wanted to visit.

After looking through all the travel brochures and doing some research online I decided that the Northern Territory was the region I was most interested in experiencing.

I decided to book the Contiki Outback Adventure.

I decided on this particular trip as it went all the places I was interested in experiencing: Darwin,Kakadu National Park,Katherine,Kings Canyon, Uluru and Alice Springs.

I booked this trip with my local travel agent departing 30 August 2017 – 9th September 2017.

My travel agent organised everything for me including flights,pre accommodation in Darwin, post accommodation in Alice Springs and travel insurance.

After purchasing everything from my travel agent it was a countdown until I flew to Darwin for my Outback Adventure!
