Departing Alice Springs Saturday 9^th September 2017:

This morning after a goodnight sleep we all met at the hotel restaurant for a farewell breakfast at 9 am with all of the remaining travellers and our Trip Manager Mark.

After breakfast we all checked out of our rooms at 10 am.

Before saying our final farewells Anshu, Rhiannon and Myself booked an airport shuttle to the airport at the hotel reception with Alice Wanderer Airport Transfers.

As all 3 of us were all flying out of Alice Springs at the same time Anshu and myself to Sydney and Rhiannon to Melbourne.

As we waited for our shuttle to arrive we said farewell to our fellow travellers who were going their seperate ways back home.

Our airport shuttle arrived at 11 am and we boarded the bus and made our way to Alice Springs Airport.

After saying farewell to Rhiannon I made my way inside to the Qantas Airways Desk and checked my bag all the way through to Port Macqaurie.

I received my boarding pass before clearing security and making my way to my departure gate.

I met Anshu inside and we chatted about our favourite memories on Contiki as we waited to board the flight.

Everyone started to board the plane at 12:30 pm and I found my seat and settled in for take off.

I flew Economy Class with Qantas Airways which departed for Sydney at 1:10 pm.

After a 3 hour flight we were notified by the cabin crew that we would be landing shortly.

We arrived at Sydney Airport at 4:30 pm.

Everyone then disembarked the plane I met up with Anshu and we made our way inside Sydney Airport to collect her luggage from baggage claim.

After collecting her luggage from baggage claim in Sydney Anshu and myself said our final farewells with a hug and went our separate ways.

After saying farewell to Anshu,I made my way inside to the Qantas Airways Desk at 5 pm and checked into my flight to Port Macqaurie and received my boarding pass before clearing security and making my way to my departure gate.

Everyone started to board the plane at 6 pm and I found my seat and settled in for take off.

I flew Economy Class with Qantas Link which departed for Port Macqaurie at 6:30 pm.

After a short 60 minute flight we were notified by the cabin crew that we would be landing shortly.

We arrived  at Port Macqaurie Airport at 7:30 pm.

After collecting my luggage I made my way home from Port Macquarie Airport at 8 pm.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all my new amazing friends for such an amazing trip full of amazing memories and lifelong friendships.

If anyone is interested in doing a trip through the Northern Territory and Outback Australia I would definitely recommend it!

Travelling through the Northern Territory makes you appreciate what a vast and expansive country Australia is and how there are so many different areas of Australia which make it such an incredible country to spend time exploring!
